Grounded Hearts

I found many hearts on a longer lunchtime walk, all of them on the ground. I think this time of year makes them more likely to be found on the ground, because the barren landscape and leaden skies do not invite the possibility of a heart display as much. Still, they were numerous and most welcome.

 I can't help but recognize 3 hearts in this photo. It was not evident to me at the time, but upon closer inspection, the other 2 shapes are very heart-like.
